The Caddo Parish 9-1-1 District owns and operates the Emergency Communications Center, which houses the communications divisions for the Shreveport Police and Fire Departments and the Caddo Sheriff’s Office.
The communications officers, who answer the 9-1-1 calls for assistance and dispatch emergency personnel and equipment, are employed by the Shreveport Police, Shreveport Fire, and Caddo Sheriff's Office.
